Callback form not live yet
The form is built and renders as soon as a submission endpoint
exists. Static hosting has no handler, and a form that silently
fails on a page whose whole job is getting a call is worse than no
form. Set contactFormEndpoint in src/data/site.ts once hosting is chosen.
Before you call
Four things that make the call short
- What the door is doing. "Loud bang then nothing" and "hums but will not move" point at completely different parts.
- Roughly how wide it is. Single or double. Door weight drives the spring size, which drives the price.
- Whether a car is trapped inside. Say so. It changes how the visit is scheduled.
- Attached or detached garage. And if detached, whether there is power out there.
If the door is off its track
Stop using the opener and do not try to force it level. The door is still connected to loaded springs, and forcing it usually turns a hardware repair into a bent-section replacement.
