No star rating is published anywhere on this site until then. A business that displays a rating it has not earned is doing something worse than showing nothing.

Reviews are the single biggest thing that decides whether a local company shows up when your neighbour searches. If a technician sorted your door out, a couple of sentences genuinely helps.
Mentioning what was fixed and your town is more useful than a rating on its own — "replaced a torsion spring in Hoffman Estates" tells the next person far more than "great service".
